PRIVACY, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE

Privacy Policy

Your habits are personal. Moventria is designed to help you act on them without turning your private life into a product.

Effective August 23, 2026 · Last updated August 23, 2026
The short version

Your core habit, journal, progress, and earned-time data stays on your device. We do not sell personal data or use third-party advertising.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Moventria handles information when you use the Moventria iPhone app, its widgets and extensions, and this website. “Moventria,” “we,” and “us” refer to the app's operator.

2. Information stored on your device

Moventria stores the information you create—such as habits, schedules, completion history, goals, reminders, earned-time balances, journal entries, preferences, and progress—locally on your device. This information supports the features you choose to use.

3. Screen Time and Family Controls

If you enable app shielding, Moventria uses Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks. Apple provides privacy-preserving identifiers for the apps or categories you select. Moventria does not receive the names of those selections in a form that can be used to monitor you remotely, and it cannot read your messages, browsing content, passwords, photos, or what you do inside another app.

4. Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Moventria receives purchase and entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

5. Notifications

If you grant permission, Moventria can schedule habit reminders, weekly reviews, and access-time notices through Apple's notification system. You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

6. Backups, exports, and deletion

Moventria can create local backups and user-requested exports. You control where exported files are shared, and you can exclude journal entries from backups. You can delete individual content in the app or use the local-data reset option. Removing the app may also remove locally stored data, subject to iOS backup behavior.

7. This website

This website does not currently require an account, use advertising cookies, or include third-party analytics. Selecting an email link opens your own email app; information you choose to send is used to reply to your message and provide support.

8. Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising. Information may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

9. Children's privacy

Moventria is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Your choices and rights

You can control permissions in iOS Settings, manage or delete content in the app, and contact us about privacy questions or rights available in your region. Because core data is stored locally, we may not possess or be able to recover it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Moventria evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new “last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.

12. Contact
